In the mid-1960s, the Righteous Brothers became a fixture on Top Forty radio with hits like "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin," "Just Once in My Life," "Unchained Melody," and "(You're My) Soul and Inspiration," creating an ultra- dramatic take on Sixties pop romance.

Fielding West

Fielding West is a man truly possessed – with his own unique style of humor and a show business reputation as a multi-talented creative force on the stage and behind the scenes.

The award-winning comedy magician, actor, game show host, TV personality, motion picture technical director and writer is now the host of and performer in "Ovation," his zany approach to magic bringing pure fun and raucous laughter to the show's audiences.

Frankie Scinta

From the moment they step onstage, the audience embraces The Scintas with laughter, applause and, in the end, genuine awe at their talent. With their tremendous capacity to entertain and surprise, the typical Scintas show is — in reality — not typical at all.

Frankie Scinta was a musical prodigy, who was given his first instrument — a guitar — at the age of four by his grandfather, Joe Scinta. He eventually added mandolin and banjo, as well as drums and bass to his repertoire. His talent was quickly noticed and he began appearing locally. Before he was a teenager, he'd been seen playing the banjo nationally on Ted Mack's Original Amateur Hour, The Merv Griffin Show and Jerry Lewis' MDA telethon.

The Scintas proudly support a range of charities. These include the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Reach Out Learning Center, Positive Kids and Camp To Belong. Numbered among the hundreds of thousands of people The Scintas have performed for over the years are presidents, governors and "everyday" people who return to the show time and again.

Gary Anderson's music has been heard around the globe on virtually every major broadcast and cable television network for over three decades. From the seriousness of ABC, CBS and CNN News to the irreverence of animation legend, Ralph Bakshi's Zootoons on the Cartoon Network.

A Summa Cum Laude graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Gary began his musical career as a full time professor at the world-renowned school. While on the faculty, Gary was also a member of the Berklee Faculty Saxophone Quartet, which included mentors Joe Viola and John LaPorta as well as Dr Harry Drabkin.

Tours and recordings with Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Mel Torme, Carmen McRae and dozens more culminated in a star studded "40th Anniversary Concert" at Carnegie Hall. Upon leaving the road life, Gary decided to settle in New York City and focus on a career in arranging and orchestrating for Broadway, Television & Film, working with composers such as Marvin Hamlisch, Charles Gross, Vinette Carroll & Charles Strouse. Work in network and cable television soon followed and continues to this day as Gary maintains studios in NY & Las Vegas.

Lynn Ross

It was more than 40 years ago that Lynn Ross began to sing jazz standards in the studios at CHSJ Television, St. John, New Brunswick, Canada. Jazz is her thing and it has been her whole life.

Lynn's phrasing, understanding and interpretations are derived from singers like Ella Fitzgerald, Anita O'Day, Sarah Vaughan, Billie Holiday and Rosemary Clooney. Spectacular influence that has helped Lynn remain true to composition, yet full of jazzy surprises.

Lynn has performed with the Las Vegas Jazz Society and also the Musician's Union, President – Frank Leone, a very accomplished piano player and his Jazz Trio. In Dallas, one of Lynn's favorite musicians whom she worked with on a semi-regular basis for about a year at her popular Jazz Jam, was the late Marchel Ivery, an amazingly talented and gracious tenor Saxophonist.

"I'm a jazz vocalist first and foremost and love to sing standards. The freedom of jazz allows me to take just about every song and make it different each time I sing it. I get the freedom to play with the tempo and style as well. It keeps the songs new and exciting for me. The wonderful thing about doing songs from the Great American Songbook is that no matter what a person's favorite type of music is – the chances that they have never heard at least one song is very slim indeed. Everyone likes at least one song and that's a great start."

Michael Finney

Comedian, magician, philanthropist, corporate spokesman, motivational speaker and more. Michael Finney has more sides to his life than a well-cut diamond. There is an authenticity to him that seems to disarm an audience instantly, causing everyone to feel as if a friend has just stepped on stage.

One reason for the respect Finney gets from other professionals may be the incredible amount of entertainment he's able to squeeze out of what seems to be so little. Give him a deck of cards, a pair of scissors, a rope and for the next hour the crowd can have the time of their lives! Finney's confidence is a by-product of sincerity and the audience connects with it and feeds it back to him in a beautiful way.

In Michael's case, sincerity and authenticity transform a simple mixture of character, context, humor, and magic into something that not only entertains but inspires. It should be said that Michel Finney works clean! Many years of performing in comedy clubs have been assimilated into corporate work, creating an instinct for what's appropriate at every venue - something his clients have learned they can depend on.

The Fabulous Echoes were popular in Hawaii as well when they became the Society Of Seven shortly before opening at the Outrigger. Trini Lopez

Trini Lopez began his entertainment career in Dallas playing at the Vegas Club. He made his name on the club circuit of the Southwestern United States before being 'discovered' in 1962 playing at the club PJ's in Hollywood, California, by record producer Don Costa. Costa was taken with Lopez's Latinized versions of contemporary hits and signed him up to Frank Sinatra's record label, Reprise Records.

His debut live album, Trini Lopez at PJ's was released in 1963.The album included a version of "If I Had a Hammer", which reached number one in 36 countries (No. 3 in the United States) and was a radio favorite for many years. It sold over one million copies, and was awarded a gold disc. He also performed his own version of the traditional Mexican song "La Bamba" on the album; his recording of the tune was later re-issued as a single in 1966.

His popularity led the Gibson Guitar Corporation to ask him in 1964 to design a guitar for them. He ended up designing two: The Trini Lopez Standard, a rock and roll model based on the Gibson ES-335 semi-hollow body, and the Lopez Deluxe, a variation of a Gibson jazz guitar designed by Barney Kessel. Both of these guitars were in production from 1964 until 1971 and are now highly sought after amongst collectors.

He scored thirteen chart singles through 1968, including "Lemon Tree" (1965), "I'm Comin' Home, Cindy" (1966) and "Sally Was a Good Old Girl" (1968). On the adult contemporary chart, he ranked up 15 hits, including the Top 10 singles "Michael" (1964), "Gonna Get Along Without Ya' Now" (1967) and "The Bramble Bush" (1967). Beyond his success on record, he became one of the country's top nightclub performers of that era, regularly headlining in Las Vegas, Nevada.

During the 1960s and 1970s Lopez moved into acting. His first film role was in Marriage on the Rocks (1965), in which he made a cameo appearance in a nightclub scene; Lopez's soundtrack song, "Sinner Man", became a hit single. He was one of The Dirty Dozen (1967) and starred in Antonio (1973). He made two appearances (playing different characters) on the television program, Adam 12. He continued his musical career with extensive tours of Europe and Latin America. Since then, Lopez has done charitable work and received honors such as being inducted into the International Latin Music Hall of Fame.

The story of Siegfried & Roy's rise to the zenith of Las Vegas entertainment is as breathtaking as their stage show. It is a story of faith and dedication to dreams. In the beginning, there were two boys from Germany. Before they even met, they both had their childhood dreams. Little did they know that someday they would go to a land called Las Vegas, establishing a new pinnacle of magical stage spectacle.

When Siegfried & Roy arrived in Las Vegas more than 30 years ago, a leading hotel executive said to them, "Boys, I have to tell you, magic doesn't work in this town." Siegfried & Roy not only proved him wrong, but they succeeded even beyond their own wildest dreams. Siegfried & Roy's contribution to magic is indefinable. To the public, they are THE magicians, but they are also very much loved and respected by their peers. They have placed magic on a plateau and have become larger than life.

Cheryl Schwab

Cheryl Schwab (Sherri) joins The Showbiz Society as a supporter from New York. "I've been around show business people since my mother married my stepfather (an opera singer) and we moved to the famed Ansonia Hotel in Manhattan when I was 11. At the Ansonia everyone either sang, taught music or were in the theater. I loved the people and the life I was exposed to and the world that was opening up for me. I never performed professionally, but I enjoyed singing with my stepfather at some of the places where he sang at such as "The Chateau" and the "Sacred Cow." When we moved to Yonkers, I did amateur theater as a stage manager and wrote theater reviews for some of the local papers. I am so glad to be a part of this group and their mission which is back into the talent, energy and passion of the show business world."
